Our Family Pictures {personal}
One of the things I love about photography is that is captures who we are right now. A photo reminds us of the past and gives us hope for the future, but in the moment a photo is taken, there is only that one moment. I think that’s a beautiful thing.
As we prepared to be photographed by the amazing Brad & Hayley Reagan Trone of Hayley Rheagan Photography (personal friends and absolutely magnificent photographers from New Mexico) this idea was the driving force behind how we wanted our family to be captured. These photos will always remind us of this beautiful time in our lives, but as we were taking them, we wanted nothing but to be ourselves in our Saturday morning routine, snuggling in bed, getting ready to get up and make a pancake breakfast. Yes we got a little dressed up and went outside to take some other photos, but all we really wanted was to preserve in film and digitally was not who we want to appear to be as a young family, but who we really genuinely are, in all our goofy glory. We couldn’t be happier with the results and are forever grateful to the Trones for all their hard and beautiful work. Enjoy!
